By BIKE
Wetherby is a popular destination for both ‘on’ and ‘off’ road cyclists. There are two National Cycle Routes running through the town, both of which pass our entrance.
Route 67 incorporates ‘The Wetherby Railway Path’ a traffic free “wonderful route that uses an old railway line and takes you from Spofforth to Thorp Arch in Yorkshire“.
Route 665 meanwhile “links the east of Leeds to York via Wetherby and Tadcaster“.
Our venue is ‘bicycle friendly and we positively welcome cyclists. We have a cycle rack for 8+ bikes and (for larger groups) a metal railing that can accommodate another 12+.
Our outdoor CCTV will help keep an eye on your bike whilst you are inside the premises, and our accessible WC offers plenty of space for changing.
Should you need any spares or repairs, All Terrain Cycles “one of the largest and best-stocked shops in the country” is located just around the corner.
Finally, whilst we hope you might be visiting a brewery to purchase beer, we’d also be very happy to top up your bottle with complimentary drinking water.
We welcome enquiries from cycling groups who may wish to use our facilities for ‘meet ups’.

Wetherby is well served by public transport, with frequent services running from both Leeds and Harrogate. Additional services are also available from York and Wakefield. We’re a 5-10 minute walk from the Bus Station (and just 2 minutes in a taxi).
